Now, about that quilt on your living room floor waiting for borders: Is it still there?Ann Mariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01373133483861905896noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31259015.post-43298412190095646992010-08-09T16:51:32.869-06:002010-08-09T16:51:32.869-06:00It seems to me that you're pretty accomplished...It seems to me that you're pretty accomplished with using colour, your choices look great. I'll be watching with interest. I was all over the place with projects last year and had so much fun but I have blinkers now.Janethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09045225648259636672noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31259015.post-3632002674331987012010-08-09T15:33:35.332-06:002010-08-09T15:33:35.332-06:00Hi Donna, Welcome to Glorious Applique, and to blo...Hi Donna, Welcome to Glorious Applique, and to blogland, as well. You are going to enjoy both a great deal, I'm sure! Your diamonds quilt is gorgeous! I do not think you are going to have much trouble with choosing your fabrics, as you have already been working with these wonderful, wild, prints. The main adjustment (I think) will be seeking out the small bits in the prints to fit in the smaller applique pieces. Does that make sense? I just started my second block, and NOW I'm starting to loosen up and have fun. Thank goodness! I have been pretty nervous till now. I look forward to seeing more of your work.
